Our Story

A Question No Mom Ever Wants to Hear

Hello. My name is Tiffany White. I, along with my son Dylan, founded The Dylan & Mommy Company to restore something sacred: identity, joy, and legacy.

This all started after a painful moment. Dylan came home from school one day and quietly said:

“I don’t like the color of my skin. I wish it were whiter.”

That moment shattered me. But it also sparked a mission...I knew words alone wouldn’t be enough. I had to show him the truth of who he is. So I started researching Black leaders, inventors, and artists; And what I found was severely insufficient. Our stories weren’t being told the way they deserved, especially not to children. 

So Dylan and I turned our healing journey into something creative.

We began writing books together. Poems. Projects. Anything that celebrated our culture and showed Black children they are powerful, worthy, and whole—just as they are.

What We Create

Books That Heal. Tools That Help. Knowledge That Lasts.

What began as one idea has grown into a full creative movement. 

Today, we create:

• Children’s Books like 1000 Black Heroes that celebrate and culturally tell untold true stories

• Poetic Bible Stories that bring scripture to life in artistic, imaginative ways

• Innovative Products that meet everyday family needs with love and intention

• Faith & Inspirational Works like Overcoming Faithful Fear that guide adults and families to live boldly and courageously

• Author & Inventor Support that provides coaching, ghostwriting, and patent programs empowering creators to bring their visions to life.

• Workshops & Speaking that provide faith-based empowerment events and innovation training to inspire action and legacy building.

• Community Activism & Initiatives like the Seed2Soul Movement and legacy-building partnerships that drive real impact and systemic change.

Whether we’re writing a bedtime story or designing a new tool, our goal is the same:
to restore pride, spark purpose, and make belonging feel real.

The Dylan & Mommy Company isn’t just about books or inventions. It’s about belonging. It’s about planting seeds of confidence in every child (or adult) who’s ever felt invisible.

We believe that when children see themselves reflected with dignity, creativity, and honor, they grow up walking through the world with power, purpose and belonging. Wealth and knowledge should flow THROUGH us to impact the people that need it and legacy is built not just by stories but by solutions, activism, and faith-led action!
